Turn the Tide event 2025

4 June 2025dawlish@admin

After a disappointing cancellation due to the weather, the Turn the Tide event finally took place on Sunday 1st June at Warren Farm. Students have been working with the local community group throughout this year to promote care for our marine environment and seaside location. Activities included artist workshops, an art competition and the opportunity to design a brand new £1 coin for Dawlish! The Mayor presented certificates and gifts to all prize winners and work was displayed at the farm. The Turn the Tide organisers are planning an exhibition of students work, which will be displayed in town later this month. We will be sure to let you all know the location and date! Full credit to our students, especially Martha R, who received a special commendation and who’s art work will be the poster for next years event. Thank you, Turn the Tide for giving us this opportunity to work on such an exciting project.
