Safeguarding is paramount at Dawlish College. We firmly believe that children learn best, and are most successful, when they feel safe and secure.

We take our role in safeguarding the young people in our care very seriously and have robust policies and procedures in place in line with County and National protocols.

All our staff and governors are trained in how to receive disclosures or notice potential concerns about a child and how to follow up and report any issues.

If anyone has concerns, that are potentially of a safeguarding nature, with regard to any member of the Dawlish College learning community then they should contact a member of our designated safeguarding team by telephone on 01626 862318 and stating the need to report a safeguarding concern; or email direct on the addresses given below:

Designated Safeguarding Officer Kate Bukowski KBukowski@dawlish.devon.sch.uk
Deputy Safeguarding Officer Tiffany Chambers TChambers@dawlish.devon.sch.uk
Safeguarding Governor Victoria Póčová vpocova@dawlish.devon.sch.uk
